Globe Arts is situated at Holme Mills - a fantastic collection of units that are home to brilliant local businesses. In the beautiful scenery accompanied by the River Colne and Huddersfield Narrow Canal, our home at Holme Mills makes Globe Arts Studio the perfectly tranquil space to get creative.

Globe 1 (Unit 11a) is the home of our Fine Art & Crafts courses. Here, you can find our Drawing & Painting courses, Mixed Media, and Printmaking. We also have Paint a Pot, Arty Parties and Hen Dos here from time to time!

Globe 2 (Unit 9a) is the home of our Ceramics and Glass classes, as well as our memberships.

ACCESS

How to get to us - we are just a 30 minute walk along the canal from both Marsden and Slaithwaite village. We are planning on getting some bike racks installed to encourage cycling to the studio. Regular buses run from Marsden and Huddersfield, which stop right outside West Slaithwaite Road - it is then a short walk to Holme Mills.

Parking - parking at Holme Mills is free, we politely ask that you park in the overflow carpark, and recommend car-sharing where possible to keep spaces free for the other fantastic businesses and their staff and clients. Please ensure to drive slowly and carefully on site.

Accessibility - Both of our sites are fully accessible with accessible toilet facilities.

If you’re coming to Globe 2 - head through the big green gate just to the left of Zapato (by the small carpark) and follow our signage until you find the big orange ‘G’ sign
