Lucy from LDM Designs is back with us again this Print Day in May, for a 3 hour workshop using our Little John printing press.
Lucy is a Huddersfield based environmentally conscious artist and printmaker. Her nature-inspired printmaking combines traditional techniques with contemporary illustration.
Linocut is a relief printing technique where a design is carved into a sheet of linoleum using gouges. Ink is applied with a roller to the raised surface, which is then pressed onto paper to create a print.
This workshop is great for all abilities, even beginners who wish to try a new technique.
