Want to give pottery throwing a try?

If you want to try pottery throwing and learn the basics, then we have lots of Sunday afternoon taster sessions available. If you love it, then we run courses throughout the year so that you can work on honing your skills!

WHAT: During this fun and laid back 2 hour taster (11am-1pm), you will receive 3 balls of clay, and after a demo from one of our fantastic tutors - make your own small vases/ bowls.

2 of your thrown pieces will be chucked in the “bucket of doom” (if you watch Pottery Thrown Down, you’ll know) and your best 1 can be kept, to be fired and clear glaze will be applied. This process takes up to 6 weeks, as it needs to dry, be bisque fired, then glaze fired.

HOW MUCH: £40pp, this includes your favourite piece getting fired and glazed too!
