Make your own beautiful Sgraffito ceramic platter with Lauren at Globe 2!
Learn a new technique in this one off 2 hour workshop,
6-8pm on Wednesday 2nd July.

WHAT: In this relaxing and creative ceramics workshop with Lauren our hand building tutor, you’ll decorate a pre-made clay plate using the beautiful sgraffito technique. You’ll carve through a coloured surface layer to reveal the clay underneath, creating striking, high-contrast designs. All plates will be glazed and fired after the session, ready to collect in 3–4 weeks.
Slip Colour Choice
Each plate will be made from white clay and coated in a coloured slip prior to the workshop. You may choose from the following slip colours:
· Black
· Mid Blue
· Green
Please let us know your colour choice 3 days before the workshop to allow our technician time to prepare your plate. Email admin@globearts.org.uk with your preference, If we do not receive a preference, black slip will be provided by default.
WHO: This workshop is perfect for beginners and creative dabblers aged 16+. No previous clay experience is needed — just bring along your ideas and we’ll guide you through!
