3 weeks - start on Wednesday 1st October - 1-3pm

WHO: Tutor and artist Beverley Kendall will expertly guide you through the essential fundamentals of appliqué and hand stitching techniques, demonstrating the exciting possibilities of the artwork that you could create with these skills.

WHAT: This course is perfect for beginners wanting to extend their basic hand sewing skills to combine them with appliqué techniques and grow confidence! The course will include…

• Cutting fabric shapes and using hand stitching to   secure them to a fabric base.

• Working with fabric and appliqué/reverse appliqué techniques.

• Making a small finished piece using all skills learned.

• Alongside the techniques we will also look at colour and composition basics when designing a stitched piece.

WHEN: Wednesdays 1-3pm, 1st-15th October

WHERE: Globe 1, Unit 11a, Holme Mills, Marsden, HD7 6LS - You will see a big silver gate in the bottom left of the overflow carpark - head through this, and follow the path to our double french doors

HOW MUCH: £80 for 3 weeks (3x 2 hours tuition, materials & refreshments)

Please note: If the course has less than 5 clients booked, there is a chance of the course being cancelled. For this reason, we recommend booking sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. If the course is cancelled, we will offer a full refund or transfer to a similar course.
