Join us on Monday mornings for Drawing & Painting

WHAT: Develop your skills and push yourself out of your comfort zone - Geoff will offer his artistic advice throughout the process, whilst giving you full creative freedom to work on your own project.

WHO: Artist Geoff Chilton will be your tutor for this course - whilst being friendly and relaxed, Geoff will help you become open-minded to new techniques and encourage you to push artistic boundaries.

WHEN: Mondays, 10-12pm

SEPT/OCT term:

Week 1+2. Painting outdoors, Line and wash sketches with pen and watercolour or gouache

Week 3+4. Drawing and Painting interiors and exteriors

Week 5+6. Developing a painting from pencil and charcoal sketches, using acrylic paints

NOV/DEC term:

Week 1+2. Shapes. Finding and drawing organic shapes in nature with dry media

Week 3+4. Tone, light and shade using cut-paper collage and mixed media

Week 5+6. Building up a painting in stages, using photographs as your own source material

HOW MUCH: £180/ early bird price 160 for 6 weeks (6 x 2 hour sessions). Included in price is tuition, all materials and refreshments
