Want to give pottery throwing a try?

If you want to try pottery throwing and learn the basics, then we have lots of Sunday afternoon taster sessions available. If you love it, then we run courses throughout the year so that you can work on honing your skills!

WHAT: During this fun and laid back 2 hour taster, you will receive 3 balls of clay, and after a demo from the tutor - make your own small vases/ bowls.

2 of your thrown pieces will be chucked in the “bucket of doom” (if you watch Pottery Thrown Down, you’ll know what this is) and keep your favourite one to be fired and glazed! We aim to have pieces ready for collection in around 6 weeks - check our collections page to see if your piece is ready to collect.

HOW MUCH: £45 per person or £80 for 2 when you book together - this includes your favourite piece getting fired and glazed too!
