Christmas Art Market 2025 - Call for Applications

Market is open 12-6pm

We are now taking applications for outdoor stalls at our Art Market on Saturday 6th December at Globe Arts (across both of our units) - deadline to apply is 30th September

 

The Globe Arts Christmas Art Market is back! Saturday 6th December at both Globe 1 & Globe 2

Our studio will be open to the public 12pm - 6pm, the atmosphere will be amazing with live music, art demonstrations, mulled wine and sweet treats! Set up for the market will be from 10am on Saturday 6th December

Any stall holder sales made during the event will be commission free - just pay for your stall.

(30% commission will be taken for any sales on products left with us after the event itself)

Selection Criteria

  • Selection will be based on quality and originality

  • Work must be handmade by the maker (prints of your original work are accepted)

  • Clear pricing displayed to minimise product handling

  • Makers should have active, professional social media profiles

  • Makers should actively participate in sharing content generated for the Christmas Art Market

  • Provide professional quality product images for social media and our web shop, with 3 emailed to info@globearts.org.uk as part of the application process

Deadline

The deadline for applications is 28th September

Successful applicants will receive confirmation and a booking link by Thursday 2nd October

Table options

Option A - Space with table provided

  • Various table sizes available - once makers are confirmed and receive a booking link, different sized tables can be selected on a first-come-first-serve basis

Option B - Bring your own table

  • £35

Option C - Outdoor stall

  • £15

  • Fantastic for large artwork

  • Great way to advertised products designed for the outdoors (eg. knitwear, garden furniture/decorations)

All options include

  • Makers will be profiled and shared on Globe Arts’ Facebook, Instagram & TikTok accounts in the run up to the event

  • Other marketing will include our newsletter (1,200 subscribers), posters displayed across Colne and Holme valleys, and listings on Creative Kirklees website

  • Every client will be encouraged to invite friends & family to browse the Art Market and support local makers - we will also be creating individual and personalised graphics for each stallholder with information about the market, which we will email out for stallholders to share via social media

  • Each stall holder must have their own means of taking payment. In the event that your card reader doesn’t work/ you are selling a high value item, a Globee can take a card payment, but we will charge 5% of the sale value to cover our costs.

  • We would prefer sellers to use cashless transactions where possible
