short course in Collagraph Printmaking!

WHO: Jackie is your fabulous tutor for this short course, open to beginners, or more advanced printmakers with higher abilities (great for if you’d just like to be in the space using the equipment, with Jackie on hand to give you advice).

WHAT: Collagraph printmaking is a creative and accessible printmaking technique that transforms everyday materials into unique printing plates. Because collagraph encourages experimentation and the use of found materials, it is an excellent way for artists of all ages and experience levels to explore texture, composition, and the exciting process of making original prints.

We will take inspiration from Geometric Balance, a collaborative exhibition between Emma Oughtibridge & Emily Stubbs. Ceramics and painting cross boundaries between surface and structure. Through an interplay of texture, mark, colour, and form, their works engage in a dynamic exchange that redefines the spatial and material language of both disciplines.
