Monster Eggs Cups - Family Halloween Workshop
Come to Globe Arts and create marvellous monster ceramic egg cups!
WHO; Join the Globees for this 2 part workshop, fun for all ages, 5-105! We only have 12 places on this workshop, to ensure you get all the help you need instructing your pieces (no experience necessary)
WHAT; You and your family/ friends will create individual egg cups, 1 per person, each with their own unique personalities!
Create your own, or draw cards to help invent your weird mix of monster features, fun for all ages, 5-105!
Part 1- using clay, to sculpt your own monster egg cup
Part 2- using our coloured slips (clay paint) and bring your pieces to life!
These will then dry out, be bisque fired, and glaze fired.
Ready to collect roughly 3-4 weeks after your session.

Spooky Fused Glass Family Workshop @G2
Join us for this spooky workshop!
WHAT: Using colourful glass frit and stringer, decorate your very own glass decoration, which will be ready for you to collect and display at home in time for Halloween! Choose to create a pumpkin, witches hat or a skull!
WHERE: Globe 2, Unit 9a, Holme Mills, HD7 6LS - Globe 2 is located behind Zapato, go through the green gates to the side of Zapato, turn right, and you'll see our signage under the canopy at the left.

Halloween Paint a Pot! @G2
Join us this Halloween for Spooky Paint a Pot!
WHAT: Choose your shape (spooky pumpkins, skulls, frogs and other creatures are available!) and get creative just in time for Halloween! Our prices range from £8 - £32 - children must be supervised by an adult at all times

Family Pumpkin Carving @G1
Join us for Family Pumpkin Carving
WHAT: Choose your pumpkin, creative a design and get carving! We’ll have everything you need waiting here for you… add a spooky style to your pumpkin just in time for Halloween. Suitable for ages 6+. Please note, this is a family activity - children must be supervised by an adult, and parents and carers get involved in the fun and book a ticket each, too.

3D Felted Halloween Decorations @G1
Join the Globees for some Spooky Fun! What will you make?
WHAT: At this fun family workshop, we will be crafting our very own spooky decorations with felt, ready to display for Halloween!
WHEN: Wednesday 28th October, 12.30-2pm or 2.30-4pm
HOW MUCH: Tickets are £10 per person, you get to take the needle felting kits home with you too!

Join Zoe & Jackie with your family and make your very own set of fused glass Christmas tree decorations!
WHAT: Decorate your glass tree ornament, with different coloured glass frit and stringer rods, together as a family.
Suitable for 4 years +
All participants must be comfortable with wearing safety goggles to do this activity, and children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Leave your creations with us to go in the kiln - we will then attach string and email you when they are ready to collect.

Create and construct fused glass decorations this festive season!
WHAT: Using colourful strips of glass, construct a family set of decorations!
Choose to make a Christmas tree, a star or a snowflake.
Please buy 1 ticket per person, and each person can choose which glass shape they want to construct and decorate on the day.

Family screen print workshop- Santa Sacks @G2
Learn all about Silk Screen Printing, and create a Santa Sack!
WHAT: Use our silk screens and learn how to print Santa onto a cotton sack.
Every person gets to make one :)
The tutor will help you print, 1 at a time, its quite quick.. then after printing, we will heat set it, and you have the rest of the session to draw and paint with fabric pastels and paints, around your screen print, to make each persons personal and unique to you!
WHO: This session is ideal for families to make some festive memories, open to ages 5-105!

Festive Paint a Pot @G2
A lovely relaxing family workshop, in the run up to Christmas break!
WHAT: Choose a time slot to suit you, come down to the studio and paint a bauble, reindeer or a Christmas tree tealight! (other non-festive shapes are also available) - prices range from £8-£32. We’ll have it ready just in time to pop on your Christmas tree! After painting them, we will glaze them and fire them in our hot kilns for 48 hours. Baubles will be strung ready with a red ribbon - we will email when they are ready for collection
(If you cannot collect, it is an additional £3pp for UK ONLY)

HOW MUCH: It is £5 per person to secure your space, and this is deducted off of the final price of your chosen piece.

Family Pumpkin Carving @ Coopers Yard
Come and join the Globees at Coopers Yard for Family Pumpkin Carving!
WHAT: Carve a pumpkin together, and take it home with you just in time for Halloween! This event is for kids aged 6+, and each child will receive their own pumpkin to carve! (there will be 1 pumpkin to be shared between 1 child and 1 adult). We will have the pumpkins and materials waiting here for you!

Fused Glass Tasters
Join us for family fused glass tasters!
In this 1 hour fused glass taster workshop, use colourful glass frit and rods of glass to decorate your own creation! For adults and kids 5 yrs +
All children must be supervised by an adult at ALL times
£10pp, each person needs a ticket, this is a family activity 😁
Safety goggles must be worn at all times during the workshop
You can choose from the following shapes:

If you want to do more than one, you can buy an extra one on the day!

This activity takes between 30 minutes -1 hour
After the workshop, we will fire your piece in the kiln.
It will take us upto 14 working days to fire it (to melt the glass together), clean it up, add the string if its a window decoration, wrap it up to keep it safe - and then we will email you with collection dates and times.
This is also available as a takeaway kit, if you enjoyed it and want to do more at home, or send it off as a gift - you can purchase it in the studio. Takeaway kits need to be brought/posted back to us to put in the kiln. Then we will post (additional £5) or we can email you to collect.

Sugar Skull Family Workshop - THE BIG DRAW
In this 1.5 hour workshop you and your family will create a set of air dry clay Sugar Skulls!
Becca and Zoe will show you the best techniques for creating cool Halloween decorations that you can take home.
Parents or carers must stay with children under 12, children aged 13 and above can attend with friends of the same age or older siblings. Suitable for children aged 5+

Christmas Fused Glass Decorations
This year we’ve had to change our family fused glass workshop due to Covid-19. So here’s how it works;
Choose from a pack of x2, x4 or x6 glass trees.
One person from your bubble can Click & Collect, from our studio in Slaithwaite, between 10-1PM.
This year with lockdown restrictions, we will give you all of the materials for you to take home and decorate together.

Once you are finished, you need to bring them back to us on the following Thursday, so that we can put them in the kiln!
When they have been fired, cleaned and strung up, you will receive another email letting you know your date and time for collection, then all that's left to do is hang them on your Christmas Tree!!
