If you want to try pottery throwing and learn the basics, then we have lots of Sunday afternoon taster sessions available. If you love it, how about booking a course with us?

WHAT: During this fun and laid back 2 hour taster, you will receive 3 balls of clay, and after a demo from one of our fantastic tutors - make your own small vases/ bowls.

2 of your thrown pieces will be chucked in the “bucket of doom” (if you watch Pottery Thrown Down, you’ll know) and your best 1 can be kept, to be fired and clear glaze will be applied. This process takes up to 6 weeks, as it needs to dry, be bisque fired, then glaze fired.

WHEN: Pottery Throwing taster sessions are 2 hours long (11am-1pm), with up to 15 minutes at the end giving your station a little tidy!

HOW MUCH: £40pp, this includes your favourite piece getting fired and glazed too!
